The government has also announced weekly fuel quotas motorcycles are allocated 5 litres, cars 15 litres, vans 40 litres, and buses up to 60 litres per week.

How to get your QR code via WhatsApp

A dedicated WhatsApp service has been introduced at 076 000 1919 to assist vehicle owners with FuelPass registration. Users need to send their vehicle number as a text message and then submit required documents including their NIC or passport, vehicle licence, and Certificate of Registration (CR). Only the registered owner is eligible to apply, and all submitted data will be handled under the Personal Data Protection Act and deleted after verification. Daily Mirror
